Statement

profile.png

Growing up in the space between cultures, I often felt as though I was quietly observing the world from a slight distance.
Neither fully “inside” nor fully “outside,” I carried a subtle sense of dissonance—an emotional nuance that continues to shape the foundation of my expression today.

My art is a personal journey of reflection and healing.
It is rooted in vivid memories of childhood and in feelings that once had no words.

Through the transparent layers of watercolor, I give color to emotions and form to the lingering echoes of memory.
Teddy bears and children gazing into the distance are not deliberate motifs, but rather quiet presences that naturally emerge—remnants from within myself.

I do not paint visible landscapes, but those that lie deep within the heart.
In these spaces, nostalgia and loneliness coexist.
Voices longing to be loved, and emotions still waiting to be embraced, gently rest in the soft light.

What I hope to offer through my work is a moment of quiet.
A space in which viewers might pause, even briefly, to listen to their own inner child—
to rediscover feelings they may have
forgotten, and softly give them a name.
