Statement

profile.png

For the children who don’t remember crying,
and the adults who forgot how to.

I paint the emotions that are not loud enough to be heard,
but too heavy to disappear.

Watercolor feels like memory—
transparent, layered, and impossible to erase.
Every stain, every soft edge,
is a trace of something that once wanted to be spoken.

The figures in my work are not characters.
They are quiet reflections of the inner child—
the part of us that waited to be held,
to be understood,
to be loved without conditions.

I do not paint visible landscapes.
I paint the places the heart remembers.

In these silent spaces,
loneliness rests beside tenderness,
and sadness does not destroy—
it softens.

What I hope to offer through my work
is not comfort, but permission.
Permission to feel.
To remember.
To name what hurt,
and to hold it gently.

If my paintings can give even one viewer
a moment of quiet honesty with themselves,
then the work is complete.
